Suga's Family Relocation
In a heartwarming turn of events, BTS member SUGA's family has recently relocated to Seoul, marking a new chapter in their journey together. The move comes as SUGA's mother celebrates the completion of a stunning new building in the upscale neighborhood of Hannam-dong, valued at approximately 17.3 billion KRW.
The building, finalized this year, stands tall with eight floors—two basement levels and six above-ground floors—plus a rooftop structure that adds to its modern charm. SUGA’s mother acquired the land back in December 2022, and with the building now fully operational, the family’s decision to move seems rooted in both personal and business convenience.
Adding to the excitement, SUGA’s older brother, Min Geum Jae, has launched a poke restaurant named Chompi on the first floor of the building. This entrepreneurial venture not only brings a fresh culinary experience to the area but also reflects the family’s growing presence in Seoul’s vibrant business scene.
Originally from Daegu, SUGA’s family has long supported his career from afar. Their move to Seoul signifies a deeper integration into his life and perhaps a desire to be closer to the heart of his world. It’s a beautiful testament to family unity, growth, and the evolving journey of one of K-pop’s most beloved artists.
As fans celebrate this milestone, it’s clear that the Min family’s story continues to inspire—blending ambition, love, and a shared dream that now rises from the streets of Hannam-dong.
