BTS rapper Suga recently faced legal repercussions for driving under the influence on August 6. The case concluded with the court fining the K-pop star 15 million KRW. Yet, it seems the legal settlement did little to calm the storm of controversy, as haters continued their bizarre antics.



On October 20, anti-fans, or "antis," sent around 100 funeral wreaths with malicious comments to HYBE headquarters, demanding Suga's exit from BTS. These unsettling actions quickly spread on the internet, but the BTS fanbase, known as ARMY, sprang into action to show their support for Suga. Fans gathered outside HYBE's office with banners and slogans expressing their unwavering love for their idol.

For those who couldn't be there in person, social media became the battleground. Support for Suga flooded online platforms, with multiple hashtags trending in his favor, proving the power and solidarity of ARMY.

These incidents highlight the darker side of K-pop fandom, where extreme measures and toxic behavior sometimes overshadow the positive support that fans can offer. While the love and dedication of ARMY remain strong, the industry and its followers must address and combat this toxicity to ensure a healthier environment for idols and fans alike.
